Djing has given me the means and the opportunity to dive deeply into different genres grooves and pallets from many angles; it has also allowed me the space to make beats without the pressure to meet modern trends as I explore these different styles in my production. When I produce, I am influenced by all different eras and styles similarly to my sets when I spin and at this point, I feel that it makes perfect sense for an "Open Format DJ" such as myself to release an "Open Format" beat tape.

So with that, I am excited to launch "Solar Sonics" which will be the first installment of a series i hope to keep consistent for a long time as my production style evolves and grows. I hope you enjoy it, play it often and share it with good friends.
